Dutch Rice

This savory, creamy and simple one pot dish is the perfect pairing for weeknight dinners.

Ingredients

  • 8 tablespoons butter
  • 28oz of chicken broth plus 16oz water
  • ½ lbs crimini mushrooms, sliced ¼” thick
  • 2 cups True Origin Foods Organic White Calrose Rice
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • Salt and freshly ground cracked pepper to taste

Directions

Preheat oven to 350°F

Melt butter in a skillet, add rice and brown. Add broth, water, garlic, mushrooms, salt and pepper. Transfer to a casserole dish, and cook covered for 1 hour.
